After the 64-team tournament has been narrowed down to the final 2, only Butler & Duke prevailed. Butler has gone through a tough schedule to get to the final game of the season, but the same cannot be said for Duke. How is it that the third best number one seed got to the National Championship? Easy, the people who made the bracket wanted to see Duke back on top!
Duke, coming out of the South Region, Cal, a depleted Purdue team, and a Baylor team that really wasn't deserving of a number 3 seed. The number 2 seed was a weak Villanova team that was under .500 in their last 10 games. Yes upsets do happen, but there is no way why Nova should have been anything above a 4 seed with their performance.
But Duke did what no other 1 seed did, they played their game, were focused on the job they had at hand with their opponents and won. They had the easiest road to the Championship game, and they simply took the straight route.
Butler has proven that they are a force to be reckoned with as they upset the 1 seeded Syracuse and beat a tired Kansas State team that had little gas left in the tank after their instant classic double overtime victory over Xavier. Butler should thank UNI and Tennessee for defeating Kansas and Ohio State, making their run easier.
I will not take anything away from what Butler has done, they have been playing outstanding on both ends of the floor and are executing the assignment that the coaching staff have given them.
In tonight's title game fight, it will between Butler & Duke, one more deserving because of their road to the National Championship, but that doesn't matter. Who will show up tonight? Can the home team pull out the improbable win (Butler) or Duke seal the deal as they cruised to the title game? We shall see, but I put my Easter Eggs in the basket of Butler. Go Bulldogs

March Madness
March is a great time of year. The sun rays appear from the cloudy sky, the snow we fondly love in Wisconsin fades away, and the return of grass is evident. Even though we love all these things, when I think of March, I think of the Madness that the NCAA brings to us.
Whether it is complaining about who got "snubbed" or who "bubble got busted", the drama that plays out on the court is well worth the wait. The top contenders losing to the small schools, the buzzer beaters, or the high-blood pressure that arises from watching your favorite team losing.
NCAA- O what would March be without you!

Twitter-A-Thon
Yes, The 150 Character max for explaining my thoughts is over with! The experiment with Twtter was not an epic fail, but at the same time, it wasn't the most enjoyable thing as well.
It's hard update that twice in a day because some days are so busy it just doesn't leave you any time or you don't even think about it. Let's look at some positives and negatives of the social network called Twitter.

Positive:
- Twitter is the facebook but only with status'
- You get to see what some of your favorite famous people are doing
- I get the ultimate retweet from one of my favorite rappers Fabolous
- Than Chado OchoCinco shouted me out once as well! And HE IS THE MAN
- Discussing funny subjects is hillarious #ballonboy & #didyourmomeversay are my favorites
Negatives:
- It can be complicated to see when someone is replying to you
- Not many friends are on there
- A lot of advertising is on there
- Cannot upload photo's on just one site. What's Up With That?
- I forgot to tweet sometimes :(
Overall, there are positives & negatives. The newsfeeds are very helpful for business' and students. For now, I am done with Twitter, but will I stay? Hmmmmmmm....... Only Time Will Tell!!

For The Love Of Football
I must say that it is a little too early for people to be booing their respective teams already (yes, I am talking to probably more than half of the league). The season just started, therefore, you must let your respective teams get back into the groove and you better not be booing if a key player is out *Cough Eagles Fan Cough*.
There must be at least a two week time period before booing can officially begin. There still is hope after an 0-2 start (Rams, Lions, Chiefs, Titans, Panthers, Bucs, Dolphins, Browns, Jaguars.) For you undefeated bunch (Giants, Jets, Ravens, Colts, Niners, Vikings, Falcons) there is still hope that you still be disappointments. The season is young, their were to weird plays in two weeks (Bengals' tip of death, Cowboy kickball), and injuries galor. Let's not forget Michael Vick will be back this week! Stay positive in these enduring times of hope(less for teams of 0 win variety). Until next time. Mr. Nutting, Signing off!!
